Changing Your Dial-Up Number Windows XP ---
Open the humboldt netlink dialer (they usually have a shortcut on the desktop) and backspace out the old number, and type in the new number then click dial, it will ask if the change is permanant, click on 'yes' and bingo! all done...

Windows 95, 98, 2000, ME ----
You will have to highlight the humboldt.net icon in the dial up networking folder usually found in your my computer folder, and then pull down the edit menu and choose properties, change the phone number and if there is an apply button click on it, then make sure you remove any humboldt.net shortcuts off the desktop, drag the icon back out onto the desktop and drop it, and click yes when it asks if you wish to create or replace a shortcut on your desktop.

MAC ---
Use your Apple menu at the top left of your screen and choose control panels. Choose remote access from the submenu. Change the phone number. When you close up remote access you will be asked if you want to save changes - click yes and your done.
