The Redwoods in Watercolor  artist's palette

Rolling fog, sunlight through ancient giants and the swirling Eel River all have a visual impact beautifully captured in the watercolor medium. Sit by the riverside and interpret the sights that surround you  on paper. Emphasis of the class will be achieving texture and simplifying your painting techniques. Dress comfortably as you will be spending part of the day in the shade. You will need quite a few items for the course due to  having a mobile studio. Bring a small variety of brushes, a sketch pad and a few drawing pencils, a pencil sharpener, a good eraser, a spray bottle full of clean water, paper towels, a few containers for water, a sack lunch and a smile!!

It will be a fulfilling day of learning new methods and  detail and best of all you will have a memory of the redwoods to take home with you . This class will be postponed in the event of inclement weather.
