The beautiful and fascinating world of snakes, salamanders, and frogs, is alive and
flourishing among the river beds and redwood canopies of Humboldt Redwoods State Park.
Familiarize yourself by exploring habitat and sharpening identification skills of these
cold-blooded, complex animals.
Enjoy an introduction of slides accompanied with narrative and finish the day with
field research as you pursue these mysterious forest creatures.
This class meets rain or shine. Recommended supplies are lunch, water, good walking shoes
and any note-taking or picture-taking
materials you may need.
