By the fourth day, we were getting pretty
confident: 
Then Al got waked by a tandem on approach to the LZ after a two hour flight.

This resulted in a broken arm, and was just in time for a horde of fellow BAPA
pilots to show up and raze him. (Lee)
With Al out with a broken arm, it was time for Steve Pavon to show up, and he
did: 
We carried on, getting weathered out a day or two, but mostly flying and
learning to treat a paraglider as a touring vehicle.
The air could get a bit crowded on the weekend, but during
the week, we had a lot of space 
and we learned to cross the valley in the afternoon to pick up the lift on
the Alpsiegl
and get up close and personal with the cliffs.
Once close, you could ride right on up to the top:

The views as you worked the edge of these cliffs were incredible:
Additional adventures were had by some:

But most of use were content to get back to the LZ the regular way:
Finally, we had to take our last look from the LZ before we left
with a promise to return: 
A most excellent adventure!
