Paragliding Links.

There exists an insane amount of paragliding links - a lot of paragliding pilots seem to be computer geeks.
I have probably 200+ sites book marked.

Here are some that are specific to Northern California:

BAPA: Bay Area (San Francisco) Paragliding Association. Site guides and more.

FLYZEPHYR: Mike and Kim Galvin's most excellent site and site guide.

Sonoma Wings:   Sonoma County site guide: Elk, Hull, and more. Hang glider oriented, but clear about what sites are OK for paragliders.

Hat Creek and environs: World Class Glass Offs and more.

The Owens Valley: It is in the middle of California, actually, and on the wrong side of the Sierras; and does not have a web site per se. But Kari Castle's new site does pretty well. And there is E-mail to Kari Castle:  karicastle@mail.telis.org  Kari provides information and guide service/XC-Thermal Clinics for PG and HG pilots that is invaluable.

And Southern California:

Marshall/Crestline: When we are up to our ankles in mud, the thermals get real nice here.

San Diego: 350 soarable days a year.  I hate 'em... ;-) and Dave Jebb

And Other PG:

Paraglider Comparisons - Jerome has an incredible site

Will Gadd's site: Current US open distance pg record holder.

Sort of a Master Link Site - Kinsley Wong's labor of love.

The Paragliding Web Ring. All around the world. Check bottom of home page.

France. Insanely great place to fly in June-July. Try Annecy and a place (Hotel Roc de Chere) to stay. (In winter, this link takes you to Bell Horizon, owned and run by same people (Nadine and Antoine) that run Roc de Chere in spring/summer.

Tips for PG Pilots. A thoughtful collection from Jerome.

Adriaan Hepburn. Flew with him in France. He has a lovely B & B in South Africa right across road from a coastal launch site. Does adventure tours inland.

Sky Adventures. World wide PG and HG links. Great site.
