The 15th Annual Giant
Healy Yard Sale and Raffle was held the last weekend in August, the
27th and 28th from 9-4 at the ball fields of
Redway Elementary School, 344 Humboldt Avenue.
We had furniture, appliances, house wares, bedding, tools, sporting goods, books, children's toys, knick-knacks, just about anything but clothing. If you didn't find that perfect item, perhaps you won it in our Yard Sale Raffle with over 50 items or gift certificates donated by local businesses. Tickets were just $1 and the drawing was held Sunday afternoon. We will be selling hotdogs, corndogs, pretzels and baked goods out of the snack shack again next year. All proceeds benefit senior nutrition programs at the Healy Senior Center. The yard sale for August 25th and 26th (location TBD) will start taking donations of gently used items starting April 12, 2012. No clothes, TV's or computers please. Volunteers are needed during the fourth week of August 2012. Please call Rebecca for more information at 923-2399. The Healy Senior Center is located at 456 Briceland Road and is open Monday through Thursday, 9:30-3:30.
