: The Tailhook Association desires to increase it's enlisted membership. It is generally misunderstood that Tailhook is for Officers only. This is certainly not the case. To be a full member, one must have experienced at least one arrested landing on an aircraft carrier. Tailhook also has an associate membership that is open to anyone. All memberships include the quarterly magazine "The Hook". This is an outstanding reference to Carrier Aviation. It is full of full color Naval Aviation photos. Anyone interested please reply. I was intwerested in finding out more about your group. My dad was
a Lt.jg in VAW-12 from July 1957 till August 1959
He did a Med crise on the USS Randolph 58-59 Flying
AD5W skyraiders. If you have any info on those
planes or that carrier or squdron let me know.
