District One extends from southern Mendocino County to the Oregon border.
The 101 corridor passes through the heart of Redwoods. The route includes the following towns with District One posts: Hopland, Ukiah, Willits, Laytonville, Leggett, Garberville, Weott, Rio Dell, Fortuna, Ferndale, Eureka, Arcata, Crescent City and Smith River.
Covelo, Alderpoint, Hoopa and Gasquet are east of the corridor, while Booneville, Fort Bragg and Shelter Cove are west, on the Pacific Ocean.(see map)
